The Center of Excellence for Collaborative Quality Improvement has been established to grow and support a community of state-wide surgical quality improvement collaboratives.

Building on the Collaborative Quality Improvement model established in partnership with the University of Michigan and Blue Cross Blue Shield Michigan Value Partnerships, the Michigan Surgical Quality Collaborative (MSQC) has begun an effort to bring together other similar statewide initiatives by establishing the Center of Excellence for Collaborative Quality Improvement (CECQI).

It is the CECQI's mission to cultivate partnerships across state lines, inspire sharing of lessons-learned from quality improvement endeavors, and ‘collaborate among collaboratives’ to create a powerful Learning Health System for improving surgical outcomes.

CECQI Events

On October 4th, 2017, we are inviting other collaboratives and any interested hospitals, surgeons, nurses, and healthcare quality improvement specialists to come join us in beautiful northern Michigan to the further the CECQI mission to collaborate locally and improve nationally.
